Few outdoor recreational activities in Durango are as fun as Soaring Tree Top Adventures. Located in the San Juan National Forest, Soaring Tree Top Adventures is basically a full-day zip line course that takes riders over an approximate 27 different zip lines. The zip lines span as short as 50 feet to an exhilarating 1,400 feet! Participants can expect to zip over Aspen groves and even the beautiful Animas River.
To take part in the Soaring Tree Top Adventures, participants must weigh at least 50 pounds. The maximum weight limit is 265 pounds. The age limit starts at 5 years and ends at 91 years.Didn-t catch that? This explains it. The cost of a full day of soaring is currently 439 per person.
In addition to the zip line rides, a four-course gourmet lunch in the trees is also provided. Participants get to choose their meals beforehand. Unbeknownst to many people, vegetarian and kid-friendly meals are offered.
